| Brockton's
New Contender!
Stephanie spent her formative years in West Bridgewater,
MA, a small suburb of Brockton. About the time Stephanie
started
walking, she began singing. She wrote her first song at
four years old.
Interested in the arts at a
very young age, Stephanie began competing on a local level
by singing and dancing at age 12. She was noticed by retired
TV performer, Donna Campbell, who had a small dance studio
in Brockton featuring Hip-Hop. Stephanie became one of Donna
Campbell's most dominant dancers, performing at all the
major events in Brockton.
At 14, Stephanie won her first
major talent competition developed by the WBET radio station.
She became Brockton's first official Idol! Due to Brockton
being a major enclave for professional boxing, and Stephanie
being the niece of legendary trainer Goody Petronelli, she
spent a lot of her formative years performing in "the
ring." She sang at many major Boxing events around
the Northeast.
Stephanie signed her first recording
contract with a small independent music label, called Hype
Time at the age of 14. It was through Hype Time that she
was introduced to the music and melodies of Mr. Sam Cobb,
who wrote, and produced her first album, 'My Day.' 'My Day,'
being a cross between Hip-Hop and R&B, showcases Stephanie's
smoky voice and urban appeal.
She has won several talent competitions
since, featuring pop country vocals: confirming her versatility
as an artist.
